Preparing to Depart Kabul

I checked with the office that does the airlift scheduling and I'm finally on the flight from Kabul to Kandahar. I'll be able to go tomorrow. Looking forward to getting there and meeting the Afghan Colonel I'll be working with. There are lots of challenges, so it should be fun.

Stranded in Kabul

Well I was supposed to be on a flight yesterday, but I didn't make the aircraft manifest. I put in another airlift movement request (AMR) for a flight on 13 May, but the person mistakenly booked me on a flight to Bagram Air Field. Now I'm doing another AMR for a flight to Kandahar...hopefully...on Friday the 14th. Wish me luck!!!
