Off to Kabul

Rocket status in Kabul: none tonight.

My replacement and I showed up for our flight at 6:30am, which means we got up at 5am. The flight departed on time, so we made it to Kabul at around 10am. We luckily timed it just right and their was a ride there waiting for us. We made it to Camp Phoenix by lunch time and one of the people we know offered us two cots and an office to sleep in, which is far better than a tent.

Not much to tell today. We wanted to look at rugs, but the shops were closed for Friday. I plan on buying the four seasons rug tomorrow, so I'll post pics of it tomorrow if the internet cooperates here in Kabul.
